As the first on my team hired after Kyndryl spun off from IBM, my work and team drove the profit and revenue for our tech start-up's first few crucial years. I worked countless hours creating and strategizing with teams in and outside the company as we were dedicated to bringing in multimillion-dollar wins. Our team supported over 50% of Kyndryl's total revenue in the 2023 fiscal year with an NPS score of 100%. We increased our win rate by 86% (by contract value in the first fiscal year) by creating visual experiences using our process: Research & Strategy, Creative Direction, Design System & Application, Feedback, and Iteration. Our achievements continue to inspire and drive progress for the company after we've gone.
As a volunteer, I was pivotal in supporting the internal marketing and communication for the United States Women's, Asian & Pacific Islander, and Black Enterprise cultural inclusion networks. My title of Early Career Guide was a testament to my commitment to supporting our assigned design interns (6 in total!) as a mentor, design buddy, and a supportive BIPOC Woman in Tech (serving as inspiration to our fellow BIPOC interns) for the US Summer Internship Program from 2022-2023.
As interns and employees joined our team, I took on the responsibility of training and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and uplifting environment. This safe space I created was instrumental in ensuring our group's success. With my core team and my mentees, I encouraged and practiced restless curiosity, growth in well-being, work/life balance, and pushing innovative ideas to fruition.
Through my wonderful and empowering female mentors, I had the chance to create connections and receive guidance, having connections to Kyndryl Marketing, Kyndryl Vital, and the US Transformation team.
