Branding isn't just about looking good or prettying things up (that phase from corporate life still triggers me 🙃) it's about creating an experience that sells FOR you.
Running a creative business isn't always cute. It's gritty and gorgeous. And sometimes, it's about walking away from clients, relationships, expectations, and even old versions of yourself.
This journey was years in the making and this layoff gave me the push to get it started. In this video, I get real honest about how I felt just a week after being laid off with one month's notice of my final day working in tech as a corporate designer.
I open up about my journey working in the corporate world as a gen z black and latina designer, what I experienced months leading up to being laid off, and where I'm at today running my own creative business at 25.
