Renaissance 2024
By Alyah rebranding
All creatives go through differnt periods, cycles and eras through thier lives. July 2024 was my moment to pause, reflect and pivot into a new direction to show up as my full authentic self, launching October 2024.
Below you'll dive deeper into my past, whenI started designing, what inspired me from a young age, and how I found my voice through art history, paintings, later on turning these into works of raster and vector arts.
It is absolutely no secret,
I have always been a non-stop ball of creative energy.
From my days playing in orchestra, to how intently I traced logos as a kid, I have always been a creatively curious person.
I was always interested in history, I can blame that on how my family kept memories from ancestors alive from lands I had never been, to the aboslute blockbuster success of National Treasure which was like following a real pirates map as a kid who would often travel up to DC from southern maryland on the weekends.
The day I truly realized that truly changed the trajectory of my career would be on a class trip to the National Library of Congress. During this trip my classmates and I were able to go underground, a a student had aparent who worked in historic conservation. We saw extremely old maps, art works, and pieces that were being rejouvinated by the skilled workers. It was then I decided that I wanted to study art history in college to help keep art alive and to learn in the process.
It was only when I was about a year into my Art History major I realized its not the conservation of these peices I want to learn about, but to make the art pieces and to be inspired by different periods in art and design shiroty.
But wait, theres more
